Stay Healthy? Cycle
In the current scenario with the global pandemic keeping people locked up in their houses with zero possibility of roaming outside, for the enthusiastic ones who wouldn’t skip a day without workout and training, one way of working out while staying out of contact during the pandemic is cycling. It is a healthy choice for your body and will ominously improve yours as well as your family’s fitness with appropriate timing and maintaining a monotonous daily routine to make yourself as healthy and fit as you were earlier.
To take a deep dive on how cycling can be one of the chief attributes in one’s life, as the Government also recommends that adults should have at least 30 minutes of moderate activity in a day, while children should be aiming for an hour at least if possible. And that’s not all, we can talk about its benefits as cycling can also help keep your weight under control to an extent and reduce the risk of chronic diseases such as heart disease to be precise, also type 2 diabetes, stroke and cancer. Parents always say that if one wants to be fit, they should cycle as much as possible to live a longer life.

Not to worry for a Fitness Dip
Lots and lots of trainers feel that they haven’t kept up to their client's demands as they pretty much come up with some excuses as to why they haven’t kept up with fitness or missed any of the session, but as everyone knows due to COVID 19, there are quite exceptional statuses. It has become a trend and it is quite justifiable that we have let our health and fitness drop to a certain extent but few, to be honest very few have picked up their pace and made themselves fit with the gift of quarantine time.
One shouldn’t worry as it is completely typical considering the alteration in activity that your body has dealt with over the past six months or maybe more. This is because if we move less, then our muscles are going to get fragile and with that, we’ll get drowsy at faster rate. Don’t feel guilty, rather feel inspired. Because you know you can get back on track. If you haven’t started working out to keep yourself healthy, start at a small pace, and increase it gradually day by day so that you don't burden yourself with heavy training.

Ignore stress and keep moving:
With the current pandemic going on, people are in a lot of stress when it comes to work, finances, childcare or the lack of freedom to do what you know and love. If you see, few of the stress busters include cycling as mentioned earlier, swimming, any brain exercise, gym or maybe a long run to relieve some stress. With this technique one can obviously sleep better and the concentration level of the person also increases. Also, one should note that, there are kids who get stressed too effortlessly so they should also be included in any kind of the activities which you perform let’s say for an e.g. maybe a match of football on TV or any physical activity, which as a sportsperson I would recommend for the kids so as to keep their mind off stories.
If you check on play store or the app store, you will see 2 of the best fitness apps available which are couch to 5k and cure.fit which is all about training and fitness. In the case of couch to 5k, it is a running app which aims to gradually increase your stamina with the end goal being to run for 30 minutes without stopping or taking a break. When you talk about cure.fit, over there though a subscription needs to be taken I myself have been using this app for a long time, it’s of great help and keeps all the attributes in the mind which one should do to keep fit and proper. Though the apps sounds quite intimidating, but each coaching session is being divided into three main sessions per week and works steadily takes you from a mixture of walking as well as running until a deadline of around 30 minutes depending on the session you are working on.
