War With Fitness

First, get in gear

How to motivate yourself to stay fit and fine? There are a thousand ways to stay fit but your will and determination are the primary building blocks to achieve your goals and targets, these will be your commanding soldiers in your war to attain fitness. The global pandemic situation has forced the entire world to stay indoors for months. This has hit a pause button on basic physical activities like walking or climbing staircase. In such situation going out for a walk in the park or a regular work out in the gym is far-fetched. But there is a silver lining, if you have the will to stay healthy and are determined to stay fit and you do exercise daily; there is nothing that can stop you. With technology being the key aspect and the backbone of humans during this lock-down, there are a number of sources that can provide help for example trainers taking online exercise/ yoga sessions over zoom. Thousands of fitness routines available on online platforms be it you tube videos or a click bait article on Google describing “10 steps to stay fit”. It is easy; with a little bit of focus, will and determination you can always stay fit and fine.

Let’s talk about kids regarding their physical health and conditions. When we talk about little ones, one can just pave the yard with chalk and let them play outdoor for majority of their time just like a life size board game. Give them incentives like for instance, give them anything like one correct answer and step forwards in the game. Not only is this a fun way of learning, it also keeps their brains and body posture active at the same time. It can be a win-win situation for the kids as well as their parents.

More Determination – Intensive workout

Talking about some real facts now; many people must have scrolled through Google and might have come across a method of exercising called “Metabolic Conditioning” but paid a very little attention pertaining to the high work rate required. Who does so many things in a single workout session? Must be very tiring. Leaving the website and skipping on to something else, without trying to understand what it exactly means. These are workouts which challenge the entire body and engage the intra-muscular and cardio-respiratory systems as a whole.

Another important attribute that requires attention is mental stamina, (NOT THE SAME AS PHYSICAL STAMINA). Intensive workouts, metabolic conditioning, not only boosts your physical stamina but has a major positive impact on your mental stamina. This keep aside physical fitness, it gives you power and strength to endure whatever life throws at you.
